Informatie aan Zee is the largest trade fair in the library and information sector in Flanders, Belgium. On Thursday 19 and Friday 20 October 2023, 1,400 information professionals will gather at the Kursaal Ostend. How can you attend as a company or organisation?

There are several ways to increase your visibility at Informatie aan Zee:

  • You rent a booth in the exhibition area. Visibility and direct contact with your audience is guaranteed.
  • You increase your visibility by being present at the pre-opening, where important stakeholders are present and you can invite partners or customers. 
  • You become a main sponsor of Informatie aan Zee and are in the spotlight of our communication.
  • You advertise on our website, in the Informatie aan Zee special edition of META magazine and/or in the networking app.
  • You sponsor one or more parts of Informatie aan Zee (the lunch, reception, lanyards or something else).
  • You offer content in a sponsored lecture or workshop.

Like previous editions, the exhibition area will be divided into two spaces: the entrance hall on the ground floor and the honour hall on the first floor with access to the other halls. There are three categories of exhibition booths for rent. The exhibition plan can be found above.

Large booth in the hall of honour (choice from 2.A to 2.F)

Price: 3,245 euro

Sponsorship opportunities

In addition to an exhibition booth, there are other opportunities to make your company, products and services known to Informatie aan Zee participants:

  • Invite partners and customers

Invite (potential) partners or customers to Informatie aan Zee and provide them with free entrance tickets. You only pay for the collected tickets at the lowest member rate after the congress.

  • Pre-opening

The pre-opening of Informatie aan Zee on Wednesday evening brings together a select audience of stakeholders and management from the information sector and politics. The evening starts with a speaker and continues with a networking reception.

When your company signs up for the exclusive pre-opening on Wednesday evening, October 18, 2023, you are present on this evening and have the opportunity to invite your own partners or customers. This will give your company or organisation maximum visibility, and direct contact with your partners or customers is guaranteed.

  • Sponsored lecture

At Informatie aan Zee 2023, we offer companies the opportunity to tell a substantive story to a wide audience. 

You can submit your proposal in response to the call for papers until January 29, 2023. Lectures and workshops will be selected by the programming working group. You will be notified well in advance if your lecture or workshop is selected. You can apply for the call for papers here.

  • Advertise in META

Like other editions, there will be a congress edition of META for Informatie aan Zee 2023. All congress participants and subscribers will receive this edition of META

  •  1 A4 advertisement: three available
  •  Advertorial (2 A4): one available
  •  Annual: backcover 7 editions of META + the Informatie aan Zee edition: one available
     
  • Online advertising 

Leading up to the congress, there is the opportunity to make your presence known to participants through our digital communications. 

  • Website: make your company or organisation known as a sponsor of Informatie aan Zee with your logo on the VVBAD website. 
  • Communication: commit to the latest communication (via our newsletter) to all attendees for maximum visibility of your company. There is the possibility of one advertisement in this newsletter and multiple (sponsor) logos. 
  • Networking app 

Exhibition exhibitors get a digital booth in the networking app. As an exhibitor, you can send invitations for an appointment at your booth, and partners and customers can also schedule an appointment with you. There are also additional sponsorship opportunities for increased visibility in the networking app.
