With a library customer base demonstrating diminishing patience for search techniques, significant advancements in retrieval technologies such as ProQuest One Click are delivering more robust searches with highly intuitive results. While the technology behind One Click is sophisticated, its appearance to searchers is remarkably simple. Users enter search terms in any database on the ProQuest platform and the results screen will include links to full text from the library's complete e-collection.  The impact on both libraries is potentially dramatic.
