Position Summary
Infor Library & Information Solutions, a division of Infor providing software and services to Public/Academic Libraries, Archives and Museums, is searching for a Technical Support Analyst for integrated Database and Web applications for their office in Brussels, Belgium.
The Technical Support Analyst provides support to customers, answering questions on technical and functional aspects of the V-smart Air, V-Insight, Iguana-products and conveys feedback to the product development team. This position serves as primary support liaison between company and customer, in a highly team oriented environment. We are looking for a Technical Support analyst to strengthen our Support team.
Key Responsibilities
• Answering questions from our European customers on both technical and functional aspects of the Library-division products, being fully responsible for the resolution of issues you are handling.
• Proactively keeping customers informed of how and when problems are resolved with focus on retention and reference ability, documenting all information in required tracking systems.
• Contributing and maintaining information in our centralized database.
• Developing product knowledge and identifying areas for further specialization.
Key Requirements/Experience
• Multilingual (Dutch, French and English)
• Graduate in Computer Science or similar
• Strong in problem analysis and resolution
• Strong communication skills
• Teamplayer
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and best practices.
• Knowledge of web development as JavaScript, JQuery, XML, HTML, XSLT, CSS is a bonus
• Knowledge or experience with Library-products (especially V-Smart Air) is a bonus
• Experience with Intersystems Caché database and application language server Caché Object Script is a bonus
