When it comes to creating visibility for everything a library has to offer in the digital space, looking through patrons’ eyes is key. In this talk, I want to discuss a customer-centric, interest-driven approach to enhancing discoverability and serendipity across digital channels. Outlining the roadmap to a unified digital search experience, I will look at the concept of convergence as a strategic goal at the Munich City Library, and I will talk about the challenge of making heterogeneous content accessible in a meaningful and inspiring way.
