Tijdens het colloquium zullen de belangrijkste onderzoeksresultaten van het BESOCIAL-onderzoeksproject worden voorgesteld. Het potentieel van sociale media data voor onderzoek en de praktijken rond sociale media archivering zullen besproken worden tijdens de keynote en twee panelgesprekken. Internationale en Belgische sprekers zullen hun expertise delen over onderwerpen zoals het gebruik van tweets als historische bronnen, het verlagen van drempels om toegang te krijgen tot het gearchiveerde web, de kansen en uitdagingen van onderzoek gebaseerd op sociale media data en het aan de slag gaan met sociale media archivering met beperkte middelen.
